Hatton hosted the Traill County MathCounts competition this week and came away winners! Congratulations to the team of Benjamin Askim, Noah Naastad, Emmitt Ness, and Ewan Davis on placing first in the team competition! As individuals, Benjamin Askim placed 1st in the county and region, Noah Naastad placed 4th, Emmitt Ness placed 5th, and Ewan Davis placed 6th.
In addition to winning the county, the team learned today that they won the entire region and qualified for the state competition in Bismarck, on March 30th. Good luck at state!

The 2026 North Dakota Class B District 3 Girls Basketball Tournament will be played on Friday, February 13th, Saturday, February 14th, and Monday, February 16th. All tournament games will be played at Park River Area High School Gymnasium.
