Monday March 4th Announcements:
1. Track practice will be in Northwood after school.
2. There will be a baseball meeting and open hitting after school on Wednesday in Hatton for those players in grades 9-12. If you cannot make the meeting, please let Mr. Carpenter know.
3. The March Reading Challenge has started. If our school reaches a goal of 35,000 minutes, Mr. Beaudoin has to spend the day on the school roof. Any students who complete 300 minutes will get extra recess.
4. Congratulations to Zane Jacobson for winning the Ampride gift card for February's reading month.
5. Prom sign-up sheets are in the office. The deadline to sign up is March 8th.

Congratulations to Jacqui Ellard, who was selected to perform in the MSUM Middle School Honor Band with her flute on Friday, March 1st. There were over 70 students from 14 different schools in attendance. The day started early with rehearsals in the morning to early afternoon. The band then performed at 1:30 following the MSUM wind ensemble.

1. Good luck to our HS BBB team as they play New Rockford-Sheyenne in the regional qualifier today at about 2:30 in Larimore. Players will be dismissed at 12:00 and leaving at 12:10.
2. SOS is sponsoring the gift of time activity on Thursday for HS Students. To get an accurate count for planning students need to sign up on the sheet in the HS hallway. Any questions please talk to Mr. Strand, Mrs. Dafforn or Ms.Wood
3. The 4th hour library study hall will be in the Science room as well as Mr. Foss' 5th and 6th period classes.

Congratulations to former Hatton Eielson Graduate(2020) and Mayville State senior, Thyra Peterick, who was selected to perform with the North Dakota Intercollegiate Concert Band, a band which consists of students from all the universities/colleges in North Dakota. The band met Feb. 22 and 23 for rehearsals at Minot State University. The experience was capped off with a concert Saturday, February 24

We had 5 of 8 participants make it to the oral round. 🎉 Here’s how they did! Tate Hanson- 3rd Place, Jacqui Ellard- 4th place, Ryder Ness- 7th place, Lawson Gibson- 8th place and Lilly Boe- 9th place

3. The JH BBB bus for the Bison game will leave Hatton at 10am tomorrow morning. Remember to bring $10 for the ticket, money for Pizza Ranch and wear the right shade of green😊
