As a reminder: Please call the office in the morning and let us know if your child is home sick, at an appointment, etc. We care about your child and need to know that they are safe at home or here at school. Also, please let the school know if the student will be picked up early so we can make sure to have them ready to leave and also make sure to check out the child in the main office. We will be hosting breakfast again this year. Muffins for Moms is scheduled for Tuesday Sept 12th, Donuts for Dads is Tuesday Oct 10th and Goodies for Grandparents is Tuesday Nov 7th. We encourage parents/guardians/grandparents to come in and share a breakfast with students free of charge.

School Picture day is Thursday August 24th! Picture forms were in the Back to School bags. Families with 3 or more children can get a rebate credit from the school office. Extra forms are available in the main office.
"Back to School Night" open house is tonight from 4pm-7pm. A meal will be served by the Goose River Bank at 5pm with a program at 6pm in the gym. Congratulations to Bentley Triebold for completing the Beanstack Summer Reading Challenge by reading 480 minutes and earning a ticket to the pool party on Wednesday! Attached is the pool party information for students that have completed the challenge! Students have until Wednesday at 5pm to reach their goal.
*Fifth graders and parents* Popplers will have a Beginner's Band Display on back to school night from 4-6 pm in the music room! There will be instruments to try out, but selection will be limited. If you child has a specific instrument they are interested in, please email thonetta.peterick@hattonk12.com. *Please note for percussion it is highly encouraged that your child has taken piano lessons for at least 2 years.
