1. HS Football practice will be in Northwood after school and will ride in the Expedition.
2. Good luck to the JH Football team as they travel to Larimore today. Players will be leaving at 3:20pm.
3. HS Volleyball practice will be in Northwood today.
4. JH Volleyball practice will be in Hatton after school.
5. Cross Country practice will be at the Northwood golf course after school.
6. Good luck to the Varsity girls golf team at their meet in Larimore today. JV practice will be at the golf course after school.
7. Drama practice will be in Northwood after school and will be riding on bus #4
8. Elementary girls basketball practice will be after school today.
9. Student Council will be meeting tomorrow morning at 8am in the Library.

We will be hosting breakfast again this year. Muffins for Moms is scheduled for Tuesday Sept 12th, Donuts for Dads is Tuesday Oct 10th and Goodies for Grandparents is Tuesday Nov 7th. We encourage parents/guardians/grandparents to come in and share a breakfast with students free of charge.
Please remember to turn in the paperwork from the Back to School Night bags. (Parent Consent form, Fee Sheet, Free and Reduced Application for lunch, ESP forms)

5. School picture day is tomorrow. Please make sure you have your order form with you. Extra picture forms are in the office. Pictures will be taken on the stage and all students grades K-12 will need to take a picture. Staff will be able to take their picture before 8:30.

School Picture day is Thursday August 24th! Picture forms were in the Back to School bags. Families with 3 or more children can get a rebate credit from the school office. Extra forms are available in the main office.
"Back to School Night" open house is tonight from 4pm-7pm. A meal will be served by the Goose River Bank at 5pm with a program at 6pm in the gym. This is a great opportunity to bring supplies to the classroom, meet teachers and pay for any fees. Please make sure to grab your "Back to School" bag by the main office. See you tonight!!

Congratulations to Bentley Triebold for completing the Beanstack Summer Reading Challenge by reading 480 minutes and earning a ticket to the pool party on Wednesday! Attached is the pool party information for students that have completed the challenge! Students have until Wednesday at 5pm to reach their goal.
*Fifth graders and parents* Popplers will have a Beginner's Band Display on back to school night from 4-6 pm in the music room! There will be instruments to try out, but selection will be limited. If you child has a specific instrument they are interested in, please email thonetta.peterick@hattonk12.com. *Please note for percussion it is highly encouraged that your child has taken piano lessons for at least 2 years.
