Monday October 24th Announcements:
1. Good luck to our HS volleyball teams as they travel to Barnes County North tonight with the JV game starting at 6pm. Players will be leaving at 3:40pm.
2. JH volleyball practice will be in Hatton after school.
3. There is no drama practice after school.
4. Elementary boys basketball will practice after school.
5. HS football will have the end of year meeting tomorrow at 4pm in Hatton. Bring all jerseys and pads to hand in at this time.
6. Congratulations to the Thunder Cross Country team on a great finish for the year! Jenna Soine placed 16th and won the Outstanding Senior Award as well as being named to the All State team. Lauren Soine placed 71st out of the 261 runners. Spencer Boe placed 112th and Cooper Handly placed 290th out of 335 runners.
7. Congratulations to Trevin Hins for being chosen as FBLA Region 1 September Member of the Month.
8. ACT prep will be with Mr. Strand during CLT today.

FBLA Project Awareness for Blue Ribbon Week
Congratulations to the Thunder Cross Country team on a great finish for the year! Jenna Soine placed 16th and also won the Outstanding Senior Award. Paris Hoverson placed 17th. Both girls were named to the All State Team. The girls team placed 8th out of 46 teams.
Good luck to the Thunder Cross Country team at the State Meet today in Jamestown!
Tuesday October 18th Announcements:
1. Good luck to our volleyball teams as the JH teams travel to Thompson with games starting at 4pm and the HS teams host Thompson in Northwood with the C squad game starting at 4:45pm. JH players will be dismissed at 2:40 and leave at 2:50 on bus #4. HS players will be leaving at 3:40pm.
2. Cross Country practice will be in Northwood after school.
3. There is no Drama practice today.
4. Elementary boys basketball will practice after school today.
5. JH football players will be turning in equipment after school today.
6. There will be a student activity for grades 7-12 starting 7th hour today. Go to your 7th hour class for attendance and then go to the main gym.
7. There will be pep band tonight in Northwood. Please be ready to play at 6:30pm. Remember to take your instrument and music before you leave school today.

4. Congratulations to the cross country team on their finishes at the Region meet in Cooperstown last Saturday: Jenna Soine placed 1st and Lauren Soine placed 32nd out of 187 runners. Spencer Boe placed 111th and Cooper Handly placed 158th out of 232 runners.
5. Drama practice will be in Northwood tonight from 6:30-8:30pm.
6. Elementary boys basketball practice will be after school today.

Congratulations to the Thunder Cross Country team at regions today! Jenna Soine won the East Region by placing 1st and Paris Hoverson placed 10th in the girls 5k. Caleb Dorman placed 17th in the boys 5k. They earned All Region honors for placing in the top 20.
Good luck to our Cross Country team at Regionals today, and our Football team in their playoff game! Go Thunder!
Friday October 14th Announcements:

2. Good luck to our volleyball teams as they host Larimore tonight in Northwood. The 7th grade game will start at 4pm with the 8th grade game to follow. The C squad game will start at 4:45. All players should be dismissed at 3pm and will be leaving at 3:10pm on bus #4.

Congratulations to Trista Bilden on her selection to the 2022 NDHSAA Class B Girls Golf All State team! The top 10 finishers in the Class B State Tournament earn the title of All-State athlete. She is the first All-State golfer for the Thunder since 2010. Great job, Trista!
Thursday October 13th Announcements:

2. Good luck to our volleyball teams as they travel to Mayville tonight. The JH games will start at 4:30pm and will be played at the elementary school. Players will be dismissed at 3:05 and leave at 3:15 on Northwood bus #1. The HS games will be played at the high school with the C squad game starting at 4:45pm. Players will be dismissed at 3:20 and leave at 3:30 on bus #4.

Homecoming Parade today at 1:30pm. The parade will start at the Potato field (on 1st St), then down Railroad Ave, turn left on 7th St continue to Hwy 18, turn right onto Hwy 18, through the Hatton Prairie Village parking lot, back onto Hwy 18, left onto Jersey Ave, left on 4th St and parade will end in front of the school. The Power Puff football game will start after the parade at the football field. Come out and support the Thunder students!!!
Picture re-take/make-up day will be Monday October 10th. If your child(ren)need to re-take their school picture or were absent the day school pictures were taken, please have the picture form filled out and ready. Extra picture forms are available in the main office.
