Our club kick-off meeting will be Sunday, Sept. 7 at 5:30PM at the Hatton Community Center. We will have supper and some activities to begin the new year.

Children at Hatton Eielson Public School are invited to participate in a program called BackPack Blessings. The program is intended to supplement the diets of children over the weekends, and is provided through a partnership between the Hatton Area Churches and the Great Plains Food Bank. Every Friday, the BackPack Blessings provides a bag full of child-friendly, shelf-stable food for a child to take home and eat over the weekend. Included are foods like cereal, microwavable meals, crackers, juice and milk. With your approval, we can send a bag of food home with your child every Friday during the school year. The program is confidential. Your child or children can participate only with your approval. There will never be a charge for it. It is funded entirely through private donations and grants. Please stop by the school office and fill out necessary paperwork for your child/children to participate in the program.
There is no school Monday September 1st in observance of Labor Day.

Popplers will be at the school Music Room Thursday, September 4th from 4:30-6:00 pm. Their display is geared towards beginning band players who are looking to lease instruments, but if you need extra reeds, grease, swabs, valve oil, etc., and don't have time to head into their store, stop in and pick up the supplies you need to start the school year off right!
