Tuesday January 21st Announcements:
1. Good luck to the HS GBB teams as they travel to Oak Grove today with the JV game starting at 5:30. Players will be leaving at 3:20.
2. JH GBB practice will be in Northwood after school.
3. JH/HS BBB practice will be in Hatton after school.
4. Good luck to the Hockey team as they travel to Wahpeton today.
5. FBLA members: your Code of Conduct and Medical Release forms are due Friday, Jan, 24. If you owe money for pizzas or money to go to state, this is also due on the 24th. BAAs are due Jan. 31. If they are not complete you are not going to State FBLA.

FCCLA Members Hannah Scholand and Taryn Munkeby are seeking your support with their STAR Event Project. They are concerned about the decline of mental health among young people. Studies show there is a stigma around having bad mental health; it often makes individuals feel isolated, as though they are weird or alone if they are struggling. This stigma prevents many young people from seeking the help they need, leading to long-term consequences for their well-being. By raising awareness and encouraging open conversations about mental health, their goal is to break down these barriers and create an environment where everyone feels supported and empowered to prioritize their mental health. Wear green tomorrow to show your support!
Friday January 17th Announcements:
1. Good luck to the JH GBB teams as they host Thompson today in Hatton with the games starting at 4pm.
2. HS GBB practice will be in Nortwhood after school. Players will be leaving at 3:10pm
3. Good luck to the JH/HS BBB teams as they travel to Larimore today with the JH game starting at 4:30. JH players will be dismissed at 3pm and leave at 3:10. HS players will be leaving at 4:30.
4. FBLA members will have a workday on Sunday, Jan. 19th from 2-4pm and Monday, Jan. 20th from 9:30am-11am. Please come and work on your projects.
5. FBLA members: remember you have concessions on Monday, Jan. 20th. The first shift starts at 5pm and the last shift needs to stay and clean up. Also, remember to bring bars if you signed up.
6. There are two weeks left to read 300 minutes for the January Reading Challenge for a chance to pie Mr. Beaudoin, Mrs. Varriano, Miss Burns, or Mr. Foss. Only students who complete their minutes can attend the event.
7. Participation for Thunder wear Friday is at 67% today.
