1. Good luck to our HS VB teams as they travel to Wyndmere tonight with the C squad game starting at 4:45. Players will be dismissed at 1:50 and leave at 2:00.
2. Good luck to the elementary boys basketball teams as they host Northwood tonight with games starting at 4pm.
3. Congratulations to the following students for being named October Students of the month: 7th & 8th Grade: Drew Iverson; 9th & 10th Grade: Brooklyn Galde; 11th & 12th Grade: Blake Johnson. Thunder Pride winners for the month are: Dalton Landa and Sadie Doll.

4. Congratulations to the cross country team at the state meet in Jamestown last Friday. Jenna Soine placed 6th place and Lauren Soine finished 107th out of 263 runners. Spencer Boe placed 154th our of 311 runners.

Wednesday October 20th Announcements
1. There is NO cross country practice today and there will be practice tomorrow in Larimore at 10am. The bus will be leaving at 9:20am. The bus for the State Meet in Jamestown on Friday will be at 10:40am.
2. Elementary boys basketball will practice after school.
3. Any girls grades 9-12 interested in playing basketball, please sign up on the coaches office door by the end of the day today.
4. There will be a representative from Minnesota State Tech here at 11am today in the conference for any juniors or seniors interested in learning more about the school.

Dear Parent or Guardian,
Hatton Public School is seeking your input regarding the need for K-12 extended school programs in our community. Extended school programs provide the resources necessary to open our school buildings earlier and keep them open later as well as provide summer school programs. The major reasons for extending the school day include: providing students assistance with homework, providing students safe places to stay while their parents are still at work, and providing students enhanced learning opportunities in reading, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) and service learning. Tentative times are from 7:30AM until school starts and 3:30-5:30pm after school. Each family is asked to take the survey.
