School will dismiss at 2pm tomorrow Thursday April 1st and no school Friday April 2nd and Monday April 5th.
The 2020-2021 Thunder Sports Awards Program will be at 7:00pm on Tuesday March 30th at the Northwood School. This will be for all athletes and families. Due to COVID, there will not be a meal with the sports awards this year.

The School Board of the Hatton Eielson School will be holding a meeting Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 7:00 a.m. at the Hatton Public Library.
There will be no school tomorrow Friday March 5th. This is a snow day on the calendar.
Grand Forks may be discontinuing their mask mandate on Monday, March 8th. Regardless of what Grand Forks does next week, The Betty will continue to require masks to enter the venue as well as masks on the bench, at the scorer's table, and anytime someone leaves their seats. They ask that all students and adults please follow The Betty's guidelines.
Art Month Activities
Tickets for the BBB Region 2 Tournament are available today. We will be playing 25 min after the third game, approx 7:45pm, on Monday March 8th. Please stop at the main office and purchase your tickets. We have 275 tickets available for Hatton/Northwood. Cost is $10 for adults and students. Tickets need to be purchased by noon on

No Tech Tuesdays
The Hatton Eielson School elementary students are putting the technology away. Starting on March 2, the students will not be using any form of technology on Tuesdays for the remainder of the year. We are immersed with technology in our daily lives, and this will give our students a day to “disconnect” with technology. Please help support No Tech Tuesday by doing the same at home.

The School Board is pleased to announce a superintendent contract has been offered and verbally accepted by Mr. Kevin Beaudoin. Currently Mr. Beaudoin is with the St. Thomas School District in St. Thomas ND. His bio and more information to follow when available. We would like to thank all the great candidates for their interest in our school. We would also like to thank Dakota Leadership Solutions, teachers and community members that helped us in this process.
There will be a special meeting of the School Board this Wednesday, February 24, 2021 beginning at 4:00 p.m. with the second round of superintendent interviews beginning at 5:00 p.m. We will be meeting in the library. This meeting is open to the public unless noted.
